“You have power” - Inside the Activists Studio™ with LaTosha Brown

If you’re going to catch up with LaTosha Brown, co-founder, Black Voters Matter Fund, you’ll have to run pretty fast. Even during this pandemic, she keeps a hectic schedule of rallies, television appearances, debates, events, and possibly a concert or two where she performs as an accomplished jazz singer.

She’s a good enough singer to quit her day job, but she wouldn’t dream of it. Her day job isn’t just a job, it’s a calling. As an organizer, strategist, activist, and Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Institute of Politics Fellow, she’s devoted her life to the fight for civil and women’s rights. In the final days leading up to the November 3rd election, she is among those leading the effort to drive voter registration and protect the right to vote in communities throughout the country.
