Giving Tuesday is an important day at Michael Stars and the Michael Stars Foundation. Our mission is to support women-led, intersectional grassroots organizations dedicated to creating a more equitable world. We believe women play a crucial role in advocating for justice, peace, and security, which encompasses not just political and military security, but also economic stability, education, and personal safety.

This year we are supporting two incredible organizations co-founded and led by women—Choose Love and Women Wage Peace—alongside re-releasing one of our favorite vintage designs "Peace On Earth". (The "Peace on Earth" tops can be found at michaelstars.com)

Choose Love (https://chooselove.org), a trailblazer in humanitarian aid, is reshaping how support is delivered globally. Operating in over 30 countries, they focus on empowering local groups to aid refugees and displaced persons, particularly women and girls. Their approach is fast, flexible, transparent, and accountable, ensuring these vulnerable groups receive the essential protection and support they need to rebuild their lives.

We are also supporting Women Wage Peace, the largest grassroots peace movement in Israel, made up of more than 44,000 members from all backgrounds, cultures, religions, and viewpoints. The organization works with women all around the region, including an historic partnership with Women of the Sun (WOS), the Palestinian women’s peace movement established in 2021. They collectively strive for peace in the region, transcending cultural, religious, and political divides.
