Restoring & Rebuilding Our Democracy

I love this photo of our U.S. Capitol and wanted to share it. She looks majestic and peaceful.

That's how she's supposed to look -- especially on the day where the presidential election vote is certified and the peaceful transition of power becomes official -- as it has through wars, economic crises, and pandemics (prior to this one)

On Jan 6th, 2021 she was attacked and our democracy was in peril. Yet, because of our citizens who stood up to protect her, she is still standing.

I believe we can restore and rebuild our democracy by working together, not only to hold those accountable who tried to tear it down, but also by working harder than ever to find the things that unite us.
