The Mission of The Representation Project is to use film and media as catalysts for cultural transformation, They inspire individuals and communities to challenge limiting gender stereotypes and shift norms. Jennifer Siebel Newsom’s third film isThe Great American Lie. Funded in part by Philanthopist and Activist, Suzanne Lerner.

The organization has become well known for creating popular social media activism campaigns such as #NotBuyingIt, #AskHerMore, and #RepresentHer.
